It was discovered that Jojo has a severe hiatal hernia. When she arrived at the hospital, her hemoglobin count was 4! The docs said she was talk of the day. They'd never seen anyone walking around with a count that low. She took 4 units of blood!
Now she is back to her old self and feels like a new woman. She will be taking Nexium and iron pills and should make a good recovery.

It's good news about your MIL!
I tried to talk to the homeschool teachers today. You know, they have all been teachers at public or private schools and are very trained in institutional teaching. I think they are probably wonderful teachers, but I don't think they have been exposed to different ways of educating adn are expecting "school" at home. I kinda felt uncomfortable. I guess I would have to take a whole pile of information in for them to see my angle, and then I'm not sure about that. They have their own plan and I have to respect that I guess and do my own thing on the side. I'll have to think about it some more.
