Today the kids (with some help from Mom) built a tee pee out of some branches. We are starting some seeds that will vine around and cover this hopefully, but in the mean time, trimmings from the shrubs add some nice privacy.

So dear blog readers (anyone out there?) how is the weather? Has Spring sprung in your backyard? Any special plans for the yard or garden?
PS. the licenses were just made on the computer. So Debbie, don't worry that Ian will get pulled over for biking w/o a license!

Spring hasn't sprung here yet. It was 5 degrees when I woke up this morning.
It's supposed to be warmer tomorrow. I hope by warmer they mean over freezing.

Did you tie the branshe together or burry them in the ground a little? Or are they really just leaning on each other? Looks cool- is it super sturdy-- it looks like it.
How clever is that TP??? Love the idea. Our yard is in major SPRING mode. We spent the entire day mulching the front and only got 70% completed. We installed a new fountain, potted up 3 pots of plants and generally made a mess of ourselves. What about you?
