Event Planning

Well we missed the blood draw yesterday and we'll reschedule. I hate having to wait up for this again. At least Mary Clare isn't concerned in the least about this, ignorance is bliss, eh? The good news is that now I have time to collect the final stool sample! Yay.

Scraping poo is not a fun pastime. My travel friend Bev ended up collecting her daughter, Emma's, in the Publix bathroom. That was a funny story, one of those funny cause it wasn't happening to me stories. I have no idea why she didn't just wait for poo at home, but maybe the poo was time sensitive? The nurse didn't mention that to me and I hope it isn't important cause I have some 3 day old poo sitting in a container on my kitchen desk waiting by the other, still empty container.

I just have not found my new party of five groove yet. Mary Clare is adjusting fine. Better than fine. She is just soooo Cullom already. She has been with us for 4 weeks today and it seems like she has been with us her whole life!

Me? I am still in catch up mode. Getting anywhere is an event in itself. I know things become more routine to me in time but for now I am dragging. I am so happy to be home with her and have everyone together though. Just being with them and enjoying this gorgeous spring weather keeps the pep alive in me. And lots of coffee, of course. Lots.

It WILL get easier to go places with 5, right? Right? We're still in the infant carrier, honkin stroller phase. I'll never know how you survived this stage with TWO infants. . .or at least how you ever went anywhere. We still stay home a lot. :)

P.S. My girlfriend in the neighborhood just had twins a few weeks ago: Jackson and Faith

Oy - poo scraping. Doesn't sound like much fun at all. I'm sure you'll find your groove soon - it sounds like MC is doing a great job of fitting in with the rest of the clan. The routine will come - just keep drinking the coffee and you'll make it thru!

I want to see pictures!!!! Hi Tracy, it's darn tiring isn't it???? Sounds like you are doing great though. So glad to hear that Mary Clare is adjusting so well and is healthy! We all think about you and can't wait to see your darling baby. Hang in there!
